1. Purchase Price and Payment

The total purchase price for the puppy is $[Amount].
A deposit of $[Amount] has been paid by Buyer on [Date], which is non-refundable except in the event of the puppy’s death or serious congenital defect prior to delivery.
The remaining balance of $[Amount] is due upon delivery of the puppy.

2. Registration and Breeding Rights

  • The puppy is sold with Limited AKC Registration (Pet-Only).

  • Buyer is NOT permitted to breed the puppy or register any offspring.

  • Full AKC breeding rights remain with the Seller.

  • Buyer may participate in AKC performance events (e.g., obedience, agility, tracking) as permitted under limited registration.

3. Health Guarantee

  • Seller guarantees the puppy is in good health at the time of sale and has received age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming.

  • Buyer has 72 hours to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian. If the puppy is found to have a serious health issue (congenital or hereditary defect), Buyer may return the puppy for a full refund or replacement at Seller’s discretion.

  • Seller is not responsible for illnesses or injuries after the puppy leaves the premises.

4. Spay/Neuter Requirement

  • The puppy must be spayed or neutered by [age] months.

  • Buyer agrees not to breed the puppy under any circumstances.

5. Care Requirements

Buyer agrees to provide proper veterinary care, nutrition, training, socialization, and a safe living environment for the puppy.

6. Return Policy

  • If Buyer is unable to keep the puppy, the puppy must be returned to the Seller.

  • The puppy may not be given away, sold, or transferred to another party without Seller’s written consent.

7. Miscellaneous

  • This Agreement represents the entire understanding between the parties.

  • Any amendments must be in writing and signed by both parties.
